Baby Bear woke up in the morning.
The sun was shining!
Baby Bear stretched his arms up HIGH.
“Good morning, world!” said Baby Bear.
Baby Bear saw Mama Bear.
Baby Bear gave Mama Bear a BIG HUG!
Squeeze, squeeze!
“I love you, Mama!” said Baby Bear.
Mama Bear smiled. “I love you too, my sweet bear!”
Baby Bear saw Papa Bear.
Baby Bear gave Papa Bear a BIG HUG!

“I love you, Papa!” said Baby Bear.
Papa Bear laughed. “I love you too, little one!”
Baby Bear went outside to play.
Baby Bear saw Bunny hopping by.
Hop, hop, hop!

“You’re so soft!” said Baby Bear.
Baby Bear saw Bird in the tree.

Baby Bear reached up for a BIG HUG!
But Bird was too high!
So Bird flew down and tickled Baby Bear’s nose with her wing.
Baby Bear giggled. “That’s a birdie hug!”
Baby Bear saw Frog by the pond.
Ribbit, ribbit!
Baby Bear gave Frog a BIG HUG!
“You’re a little wet!” laughed Baby Bear.
Frog splashed happily.
Baby Bear felt SO happy!
He had given SO many hugs!
Baby Bear ran back home.
Mama Bear and Papa Bear were waiting.
“Did you have fun?” asked Mama.
“Yes! I gave hugs to EVERYONE!” said Baby Bear.
Mama Bear scooped up Baby Bear.
Papa Bear wrapped his big arms around them both.
They had one more GIANT FAMILY HUG!
Squeeze, squeeze, SQUEEZE!
Baby Bear yawned. “I love hugs,” he said sleepily.
“Hugs make everything better,” said Mama.
“And you give the very best hugs,” said Papa.
Baby Bear closed his eyes and smiled.
